How It Works

Start by exploring the full territory directory. Every territory represents a real city, neighborhood, or region within the global diaspora. Each listing shows the territory name, region, current tier, and starting bid price.

Pay attention to the tier level — Block, District, or State/Province — as it determines the scope of your authority, the number of subdomains you control, and your revenue potential. Higher tiers come with greater reach and more tools.

Use the region filters to narrow your search. Whether you are looking for a neighborhood in your hometown or a city across the Atlantic, every territory has a unique cultural identity waiting for a holder.

All territory auctions are hosted exclusively on eBay. This ensures full buyer protection, transparent bidding, and a trusted payment process. When you find a territory at auction, click "Bid on eBay" to go directly to the listing.

Each auction runs for a 7-day window. You can place your initial bid and set a maximum bid amount. If someone outbids you, eBay will send you a notification so you can decide whether to bid higher. The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins.

You are only charged if you win. There are no fees for placing a bid. Once the auction closes and you are the winner, eBay processes your payment and we begin your onboarding.

Once you win an auction and payment is confirmed, we begin your territory onboarding within 48 hours. You will receive an onboarding email with your login credentials, subdomain access details, and a quick-start guide.

Every territory comes with three subdomains activated immediately. For example, winning "Atlanta, GA" gives you atlanta.121212.territories, atlanta.121212.events, and atlanta.121212.market. These are live, functional subdomains you can begin customizing right away.

You will also receive access to the Territory Holder dashboard, where you can manage your content, track analytics, and connect with other holders in the network.

As a territory holder, you are the cultural curator for your location within the 121212 network. Your role is to build out your subdomains with local content, merchants, events, and community resources that reflect the culture of your territory.

Depending on your tier, you may have the ability to sub-license portions of your territory to local entrepreneurs. District and State holders can create revenue streams by granting access to sub-territories, taking a percentage of each sub-license fee.

Staying active is important. Territories that show no activity for 90 consecutive days may be subject to re-auction. This ensures that every territory in the network is actively serving its community.
